eCommerce has been on the rise in Indonesia. Proof of this can be seen from Indonesia’s host of rapidly-growing eCommerce platforms such as Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and Shopee which contribute to the country’s massive eCommerce market size of US$11 billion.

Despite Indonesia's vast and fragmented geography, demand for faster deliveries for online purchases is likely to continue growing.

Typically, domestic deliveries in Indonesia take between 2 to 4 days, and more people are seeing the need for next-day delivery services. As one of the rapid-growing logistics players in Indonesia who integrates technology with logistics, Janio is ready to provide a better service to customers by tapping into next-day delivery.

How does Next Day Domestic Delivery Work?

1. Select the “Next Day Delivery” Option in the Service Level Field

In your service submission, make sure you choose “Next Day Delivery” at the Service Level field. Please note that for regular, non-next day, deliveries the Service Level field is optional: if it is left blank, the order will be assumed to be of a regular delivery service.

If you are using merchant portal for single order, you can refer to this image:

For bulk order submissions, indicate the “Next Day Delivery” in the Service Level column in the CSV downloaded from our portal. If the Service level column is left blank, we will assume it is a regular delivery service. Please refer to this image:

If you are using an API to connect with Janio's platform, you will have to include an additional parameter in the order object to indicate your preference. Again, this Service level field is optional so if you leave it blank, it will be assumed that the order is made for a regular delivery service and no disruption happens. You can refer to this image:

2. Pickup or Drop-off Your Goods

Next, based on your service choice in the merchant portal or API, you can opt for pickup or drop-off arrangements your goods.

2.1. Pickup

Please note that we only cover Jakarta for pickup option. The cut-off time for pickup is 12pm, which means we will pickup any Next Day Delivery orders made before 12pm.

2.2. Drop-off

For drop-off, please make sure you deliver your goods to our warehouse. The cut-off time for drop-off is 3pm, which means that the parcel must arrive at our warehouse by 3pm for us to deliver the next day. The address of our warehouse is:

Jakarta Utara, RW.3, Pegangsaan Dua,
