  2. We check HS codes

Duty rate, sales tax rate and whether a licence applies. We'll advise if you're not sure.

  3. Our broker pre-clears

Under your company, or as your Importer of Record.

  4. We pay duty and sales tax

On your behalf, billed on one invoice at cost plus a disbursement fee.

  5. Cargo is released on arrival

We collect from the airport cargo terminal.

  6. We deliver to your business

Around Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu or Kuching in 24 to 48 hours.

Know before you ship

The rules that decide your landed cost

We check each of these against your invoice before your cargo arrives, so nothing is held at the border.

12 hours

We pre-clear only. Documents must reach us at least 12 hours before your cargo lands, or clearance will be late.

RM500 threshold

Only air courier and postal parcels up to RM500 (CIF) skip import duty and sales tax. Air cargo we clear pays duty and sales tax by HS code.

10% LVG tax

Goods sold online at RM500 or less to Malaysian consumers may carry 10% Low Value Goods sales tax, charged by the registered seller at checkout rather than at the border.

Licences

Some goods need an import licence. You provide it with your documents; we'll tell you if you need one.

Documents you need

Have these ready and we'll do the rest

  • Commercial invoice and packing list, at least 12 hours before arrival
  • Airway bill
  • The Malaysian importer's details, or our Importer of Record service
  • Any import licence or permit your goods need

Landed cost check

Send your invoice. Get duty, sales tax and licence needs back in 1 working day.

We return the HS codes, a duty and sales tax estimate, and whether your goods need a licence.

Questions we get every week

Which shipments do you clear?

Air cargo of general goods, arriving at KLIA, Kota Kinabalu or Kuching. We don't clear sea freight or courier parcels.

When do you need my documents?

At least 12 hours before your cargo lands. For short flights, send them when you book the flight. We pre-clear only, so late documents mean late release.

Where do you deliver?

To business addresses around Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

Is there a duty-free threshold?

Only for air courier and postal parcels with a total value of RM500 or less (CIF). Air cargo cleared through us pays import duty and sales tax by HS code.

What is the LVG tax and does it apply to me?

A 10% sales tax on goods sold online at RM500 or less to Malaysian consumers. It is charged by the registered seller at checkout, not at the border. Sellers must register once LVG sales pass RM500,000 in 12 months.

Do my goods need an import licence?

Some do. Send us your invoice and we'll tell you. You provide the licence with your documents.

I don't have a Malaysian company. Can you be my importer?

Yes. Our customs broker acts as your Importer of Record.

Do you deliver to homes?

No. Business addresses only.
