How long does trucking from Malaysia to Singapore take?
24 to 48 hours door to door from Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.
When does the truck leave?
Once every weekday evening. Have your cargo ready for pickup by 12 pm and it leaves the same day. No runs on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
Where do you pick up?
Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. We don't collect from other areas yet.
Is there a minimum shipment size?
Part loads start at 150 kg chargeable, the greater of actual weight and volume weight (6,000 cm³ = 1 kg). From Klang Valley, air takes shipments from 45 kg, three flights a week.
What can I ship?
General cargo: cartons or pallets, any declared value. We don't carry dangerous goods, perishables or chilled and frozen cargo.
Do I pay GST when trucking goods into Singapore?
Yes. Goods brought in by road pay 9% GST at import, plus duty on the few dutiable goods. The S$400 relief only applies to air and post.
Who pays the GST, me or my customer?
Either. With DDP we pay it at the border and add it to your invoice, so your customer gets no bill on delivery.
My company isn't registered in Singapore. Can I still ship?
Yes. We can act as your Importer of Record, or find the right importing set-up for you.
Do you insure my cargo?
No. We don't sell cargo insurance, and cargo travels at the owner's risk under our standard trading conditions. Arrange your own transit cover, with a waiver of subrogation in favour of us and our carriers. We'll send the wording with your quote.
Can you deliver to a free trade zone, 3PL or marketplace warehouse?
Yes. Give us the booking reference and we'll match the delivery slot.
