How it works

From arrival to delivery in six steps

  1. Send documents 12 hours before arrival

Commercial invoice, packing list and airway bill or bill of lading.

  2. We check HS codes and value

So duty and VAT are right the first time.

  3. We pre-clear with BOC

Under your accreditation, or our partner broker's as Importer of Record.

  4. We pay duty and VAT

On your behalf, billed on one invoice at cost plus a disbursement fee.

  5. Cargo is released on arrival

We collect from the airport terminal, port or container freight station, and return empty containers.

  6. We deliver to your business

In 24 to 48 hours, with WhatsApp updates at each step.

Know before you ship

The rules that decide your landed cost

We check each of these against your invoice before your cargo arrives, so nothing is held at the border.

12 hours

We pre-clear only. Documents must reach us at least 12 hours before your cargo arrives, or clearance will be late.

PHP 10,000

Shipments at or below this FOB or FCA value are exempt from duty and VAT.

3 years

Importer accreditation now lasts 3 years, for a one-time PHP 5,000 fee. Or use our partner broker as Importer of Record.

Storage

Port storage and demurrage from late or incomplete documents are paid by the importer.

Check these before you buy

Some products need approvals before they can enter or be sold in the Philippines. Checking early avoids goods being held at customs.

Product standardsSome electrical and electronic goods, household appliances and building materials need an Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) from the DTI Bureau of Philippine Standards, issued per shipment.
Food, drinks and supplementsThe importer needs an FDA License to Operate and each product needs its own registration. We don't clear goods that need FDA approval.
The HS codeIt sets the duty rate and any permits needed. If you don't know it, describe the goods and send your invoice with your request.
Duty and VATVAT is 12%, charged on the customs value plus duty and certain charges, not on the invoice price alone.

Documents you need

Have these ready and we'll do the rest

  • Commercial invoice and packing list, at least 12 hours before arrival
  • Airway bill (air) or bill of lading (sea)
  • BOC accreditation and BIR importer clearance, or our Importer of Record service
  • A clear product description (we can find the HS code for you)

Landed cost check

Send your invoice. Get duty and VAT back in 1 working day.

We return the HS codes and a duty and VAT estimate, so the price you set holds. Plus the Philippines import readiness checklist.

Questions we get every week

Which shipments do you clear?

Air and sea freight of general cargo, full and shared containers, arriving at Manila, Clark, Cebu or Davao. We don't clear courier parcels.

When do you need my documents?

At least 12 hours before your cargo arrives. For short flights, send them when you book the flight. We pre-clear only, so late documents mean late release.

Can you clear cargo that has already landed?

No. We only offer pre-clearance.

I don't have a Philippine company. Can I still import?

Yes. Our partner broker acts as your Importer of Record.

Is my shipment under the de minimis?

Shipments valued at PHP 10,000 or less (FOB or FCA) are exempt from duty and VAT.

Who pays port storage or demurrage?

The importer, if it builds up because documents are late or incomplete.

Do you handle full containers?

Yes. We arrange the port trucking and return the empty container. For shared containers, we collect from the container freight station.

Do you deliver to homes?

No. Business addresses only.
